Vibration Isolation Selution For The Vibration Test System For The Laboratory


Vibration isolation in a vibration test system is crucial for accurate testing results by minimizing external vibrations from interfering with the test object. It involves using isolators to reduce the transmission of vibration energy from the test system's environment to the test object, or vice versa. This prevents unwanted vibrations from affecting the test results and ensures the test object is subjected only to the intended vibration input.








Electrodynamic shakers are capable of generating high forces over a wide range of frequencies. To limit the amount of unwanted vibration energy from being transmitted into the floor and throughout the facility, pneumatic mounts between the shaker and the floor are filled with compressed air to isolate the transmission of this energy. Shakers are relatively heavy pieces of equipment and, as such, are typically mounted on the ground floor of the facility.
